Role and Responsibilities
1. Establish EHS strategies and goals to prioritize environmental protection and the safety of employees and customers.
2. Establish accident prevention process and strengthen safety management to create safe work environment for all employees. Including regular education and build awareness to employee.
3. Remove risk of regulation violation by observing domestic/overseas EHS regulations and monitoring regulations and revision status of the regulations.
4. [EHS planning] Oversee to establish EHS strategies/goals, plan and conduct meetings, identify EHS issues, and manage EHS records.
6. [EHS training] Promote to establish training plans for each field and provide theoretical/experience training to improve capability of EHS managers.
7. [EHS audit] Promote to check and improve compliance of affiliates, subsidiaries, contractors with EHS regulations by conducting a regular audit.
8. Support the Global Samsung and regional EHS Global Team initiatives (Health, Safety, and Environmental) management systems to enhance effectiveness.
9. Assist the development, implementation, and maintenance of EHS & Security policies, procedures, and programs.
10. Maintains a current working knowledge of EHS regulations and laws. Provide technical and regulatory compliance expertise and support.
11. Support the maintenance and continuous improvement of the company's ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems, ensuring compliance with all established standards and requirements.
12. Conduct internal EHS audits and project site inspections and assist with audits to verify compliance and promote best practices.
Skills and Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, Occupational Safety and Health, or a related field.
• Obtain EHS certification at least K3 Umum by Kemenaker
• Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in Health, Safety, and Environment management.
• Have or include additional minimum 2 years’ experience as EHS senior role
• Familiar with EHS Management System, ISO Standard (ISO 14001 and ISO 45001)
• Has a wide range of experience, uses professional concepts and company objectives to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways
• Works on complex issues where analyzing situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variables. Exercises judgement in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria to obtain results. Determines methods and procedures on new assignments and coordinates other's tasks
• May manage a group such as coordinating activities regarding costs, methods and staffing.
• Liaise with building management to ensure A/C, electricity supplies, and other building technical facilities operates well.
• Maintain X-Ray for daily maintenance, permission and certification. Coordinate with security guard and receptionist to ensure physical security are managed and compliant with policy (X-Ray).
• Maintain Office 24/7 equipment such as speed gate turnstile, X-ray, CCTV for the safety part.
• Maintain Server room facility, make sure the supporting equipment inside such as AC, UPS, and Electricity panel is working well, including the temperature and humidity.
• Maintain UPS Healthy Check, make sure the fan, battery still working well.
• Maintain internal electricity, maintain electrical panel and all electricity usage in office to not over usage.
• Maintain Fire protection, such as fire alarm for server room, fire extinguisher, and other fire precaution equipment, service and plan Liaise with vendor or third party related to EHS and office utility.
